Partnering with Higher Education

With school starting back up this month we wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the wonderful partners we’ve had the opportunity of working with in the higher education sector.
Taurus has worked with several campuses across the country to expand the capabilities and transform various spaces on campus to better serve those seeking to further their education. The pictures below were taken from a project completed earlier this summer at The University of Texas at Dallas. Our team upgraded two rooms in a centrally located space on campus that is available to all students and faculty to utilize.
These spaces include Newline Interactive’s X Series and TruTouch collaboration screens, Mersive’s Solstice wireless presentation tool and Avteq’s dynamically height adjustable wall stands.
Each room allows students to share content from any device or use a built-in computer installed in the display. Users can also initiate or join their choice of web conference while utilizing the built-in cameras and microphones (e.g. Zoom, Skype for Business, WebEx…). The wall mount stand allows for a secure and ADA compliant integration. The simple finger touch comes with 16” of height adjustment on demand.
The key to these projects is to keep them as SIMPLE and EFFECTIVE as possible. People need technology to be more productive, not to slow them down!
