At Baylor Scott & White’s Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center in Dallas, the Texas Cancer Interception Institute brings those disciplines together. Its command center is an operations hub for shared data, expertise and collaboration.

Taurus delivered the audiovisual systems that give that work a place to happen: a large-format LED canvas, integrated conferencing, room control and displays that carry the story beyond the command center.

Command Center 114

Room to see
the whole picture.

The wall gives the room a common visual reference. An Absen fine-pitch LED display and Barco CTRL platform bring multiple sources onto one expansive canvas.

Cisco video conferencing, Shure ceiling microphones and Biamp audio processing support the conversation around it. Crestron brings the room’s AV controls to a touch panel.

Conference Room 103

Bring the
conversation together.

A 98-inch Samsung display anchors the conference room, with a Cisco Room Kit EQ and table microphones for meetings that include people beyond the room.

A Crestron scheduling panel identifies the space at the door. Extron audio and occupancy hardware round out the room’s installed systems.

Entry Donor Wall 102

A welcome with
a story to tell.

The audiovisual experience begins at the entrance. A Samsung commercial display and BrightSign player form the digital element of the donor recognition wall.

Set within the institute’s architectural welcome, the display gives recognition and information a visible place in the visitor experience.
